1. Summary
- There is no account. We never ask for a name, e-mail or password, and no personal profile is kept on a server.
- Your preferences and optional personal details are stored only on your phone.
- No analytics or tracking SDK. Your usage is not measured or profiled.
- Location is used only when you ask, once and in the foreground; raw coordinates are neither stored nor sent. There is no background location permission.
- The free version shows Google AdMob ads, requested as non-personalised. Your religious preference, city and worship data are never passed to the ad system. Premium removes ads entirely.
- This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party services.

3. Data stored on your device
The following is stored in the app's private storage on your phone so the app can work. None of it is sent to an ad network or any third party, nor to a server. The only exception is the country/region and interface language used when downloading packages (see section 5).

Uninstalling the app removes all of this data from your device.
4. Location
- Location permission is requested through Android's own dialog only when you tap "Use my location". If you decline, you pick your province and district from a list; the app works the same way.
- When granted, location is read once, only while the app is open, and matched to a province/district. Optionally a more precise qibla direction is computed.
- Raw coordinates are never stored permanently, logged, or sent to a server or ad system. Only the selected province/district is kept.
- The app has no background location permission (
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION); there is no travel or movement tracking. - The compass sensor for the qibla arrow is read only while the Today screen is visible; sensor data is not stored.
5. Internet use and package downloads
Calendar and date calculations happen entirely on the device. The internet is used only for:
- Downloading prayer-time and content packages. The request carries country/region, interface language and a date range. Your source preference, name, location and device identifiers are not included; data for several sources arrives as one signed package and is filtered on the device according to your choice.
- Verifying a Premium entitlement (only if you purchased; see section 7).
- Serving ads (free version only; see section 6).
Packages are hosted on our service provider's infrastructure (Supabase). As with any internet connection, the server technically sees the requesting IP address. Access logs are kept in truncated form for a limited time; they contain no personal profile, source preference, location or religious-interest data and are not used for analytics.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version contains a small number of ad placements served through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
- Ads are requested as non-personalised. Your source preference, city, prayer times, qibla use, notification and worship data are never added to an ad request, keyword or targeting. Religious usage is not used as an ad segment.
- Google's SDK nevertheless processes some data under Google's own policy to serve ads, cap frequency, prevent fraud and meet legal duties: the Advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and basic network and interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partner sites and apps.
- Where your region requires it, Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) is shown before any ad. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy and about → Privacy options.
- You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
- Ads never appear inside or between verses, hadith, prayers or guidance texts; reading pages are ad-free. No full-screen ad is shown around prayer times or in Worship mode.
- With Premium no ad requests are made and all ad placements disappear.
7. Premium purchases (Google Play)
Premium is not on sale yet. This section describes how it will work once Premium is available on Google Play.
- Premium is sold through Google Play. Payment details are handled by Google Play; the app never sees card or payment data. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- To confirm that your purchase is valid, the purchase token issued by Google Play is sent to our server and verified with Google. The token is stored encrypted and never written to logs, analytics or ad systems.
- Retention: the encrypted token is kept while your entitlement lasts and for at most 90 days after it ends. Technical records of the verification flow are kept truncated for at most 14 days; notification messages for at most 30 days.
- Because there is no account, restoring, exporting or deleting your purchase record is done from inside the app with your Google Play purchase evidence. On deletion, online records are purged within 24 hours and backups within 35 days.
- Premium only removes ads and unlocks two special icon sets (Palestine and East Turkestan); calendar, prayer times, qibla, religious content and notifications stay free.
8. Notifications and widgets
- All notifications are scheduled on your device; no push notifications are sent from a server.
- Notification permission is requested only when you tap a button such as "Turn on notifications", never on first launch.
- Verse, hadith and prayer texts and their sources are not written into notifications; the lock screen shows only a neutral reminder. You read the full text inside the app.
- Home-screen widgets make no network calls, use no location and carry no ads. Prayer-time details can be hidden in widget settings.

In the free version the Google Mobile Ads SDK also brings the Advertising ID permission (AD_ID). No contacts, camera, microphone, file or background-location permission is requested.
10. Children
The app is not specifically designed for children. Because there is no account and optional personal details stay on the device, no personal data is knowingly collected from children. Ad content in the free version is limited to the "General audiences" (G) rating.
11. Your rights and deleting data
- Your personal data in the app is on your device; you view, edit and delete it inside the app: Settings → Personal details and Worship → My worship goals.
- Uninstalling the app removes all app data from the device.
- Once Premium is on sale, deletion requests concerning a purchase record can be made from inside the app (see section 7).
- For rights under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), the GDPR or the law of your country, write to destek@namazinikacirma.com.
12. This website
namazinikacirma.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking tools and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server access logs to serve the pages; we do not use them for visitor analysis.
13. Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its effective date. For significant changes to how the app processes data, we also inform you inside the app.
